This world is not our final home. Life here is temporary and fleeting—beautiful, but never meant to be the destination. Inspired by Hebrews 13:14 (NLT) — “For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.” This tee is a reminder that our truest allegiance is to God’s kingdom. Just as nations rally around their flags and athletes carry their colors proudly at the games, we too should recognize that our ultimate loyalty belongs to heaven. Our true country lies ahead, where all will be made right again. Until then, we press on with purpose, longing to arrive with heads held high and hear the words, “Well done.”

Care Instructions

Care Instructions

  • Your tee was built for the long haul—campfires, river days, and everything in between. Take care of it, and your tee will take care of you—season after season, story after story.

Washing Care

  • Water Temperature: Cold (≤ 30°C / 86°F) is your best friend—prevents shrinkage, fading, and keeps that vintage tone alive. Warm (40°C / 104°F) works if your adventures get messy, but expect a touch more wear. Skip hot washes—they’re hard on cotton and cut the life short.
  • Detergent: Stick with a mild liquid detergent. Enzyme types handle stains, but don’t overdo it—they can weaken fibers over time.
  • Cycle: Gentle cycle keeps it smooth. Flip your tee inside out to guard the print and keep colors strong.
  • Load Size: Give it some breathing room—overloaded machines beat up cotton and leave it wrinkled.

Drying Care

  • Best for Longevity: Hang dry or lay flat. Shade > sun—UV rays fade colors faster than salt air on a summer day.
  • If Using a Dryer: Go low heat or air fluff. Pull it out slightly damp, reshape, and let it finish drying naturally. Over-drying = the #1 reason tees break down early.

Extra Tips

  • Fabric Softeners: Fine every once in a while, but they coat fibers and dull absorbency.
  • Vinegar Rinse: ½ cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle keeps colors set and cotton soft, naturally.
  • Ironing: Medium heat while still a little damp works best.
  • Storage: Fold it up and stash in a cool, dry spot. Long-term hanging can stretch shoulders and collars. If you prefer hanging, use wide, good-quality hangers—they protect the shoulders and collar. Thin wire or plastic hangers can stretch and misshape your tee over time.

Built to Last

  • Every Rescued tee is made with durability and quality in mind. With the right care, it will age well, softening over time and wearing in with character. When it’s finally time for a fresh one, we hope you’ll choose Rescued again. Your support helps us keep these tees available and keep sharing the greatest rescue story.
