This performance-driven rope cap blends classic style with modern functionality, making it a versatile choice for everyday wear. Built with a lightweight cotton-nylon blend and a Mid Pro crown, it delivers dependable structure without sacrificing comfort. The mesh flip-up stay and flat bill give it a timeless look, while the UPF 50+ rating provides reliable protection during long days in the sun. A standard cotton sweatband with a vapor barrier helps manage moisture, keeping you cool and focused whether you're on the course or on the go.

Care Instructions

• Your Rescued Rope Cap was built for the long haul—sun-soaked days, road trips, and every adventure in between. Take care of it, and it will hold its shape, color, and story season after season.

Cleaning Care

• Spot Clean First: Most dirt and sweat marks wipe away with a damp cloth or a soft brush and mild soap.
  
• Deep Clean: If it needs more, hand wash gently in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid machine washing—the agitation can warp the crown, rope detail, or bill.
  
• Sweatband Care: Use a gentle brush or cloth with a drop of soap to freshen up the sweat band.

Drying Care

• Best for Longevity: Air dry only. Reshape the crown and bill while damp, then let it dry naturally away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  
• Avoid Heat: Never toss it in the dryer—high heat breaks down materials and ruins the fit.

Curving the Bill

• If you prefer a curved look, proceed carefully—improper bending can damage the bill, and the owner assumes all risk.
  
• To curve your bill: Flip the hat upside down so you’re looking inside the crown, with the bill facing your body.
  
• With both hands, place your thumb and index finger at the base of the bill where it connects to the hat.
  
• Gently pinch each side and bring them together in the middle like you’re having them “kiss,” applying even, symmetrical pressure until you achieve your desired curve. Hold it for 15-30 seconds and repeat as needed. Over time the shape will begin to hold.
  
• Avoid over-bending or using heat—the internal structure can crack or lose shape permanently.

Extra Tips

• Storage: Store on a hat rack, shelf, or hook to maintain shape. Avoid crushing it at the bottom of a bag for long stretches.
  
• Ironing/Pressing: Not recommended. Heat and pressure can distort the crown or damage embroidery.
• Avoid getting cotton hats excessively wet — cotton absorbs water, which can cause the hat to lose its shape or show water marks. If it does get wet, gently reshape and air-dry only.

We currently ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
At this time, we do not ship to the UK, EU, or other international regions.
